Absentee Voting
As of 2024, you can now request permanent vote-by-mail status, after which you will automatically be mailed a ballot without needing to request one each time.
Request an absentee ballot by filling out an application and returning it to the Santa Fe County Clerk.
How to apply:
- Directly contact the Santa Fe County Clerk’s Office in person, phone, mail or email:
- Fill out an application online on the Voting Portal accessed from the Secretary of State’s website
- Download an Absentee Ballot Application here and mail or hand deliver it to the SF County Clerk’s Office.
