The Open Circle Sanctuary 654 Webber Street The League of Women Voters US supports efforts to abolish the Electoral College as a morally compromised and racist institution that continues to allow political exclusion, particularly of many voters of color, in presidential elections. Come learn more about the Electoral College and why it should be abolished from former career diplomat Ann Galer. As a longtime Foreign Service officer, Galer lived and worked in East and Southeast Asia, Europe and the Middle East and represented the United States in several United Nations organizations. She specialized in international economics and finance. Galer made the same presentation in January to the League of Women Voters of Los Alamos and has agreed to reprise it for the Santa Fe league.
