The Santa Fe County Clerk’s Office is excited to share information about an upcoming virtual event that highlights the work of election officials across the country. On October 8th from 7–8 pm EDT, in partnership with the League of Women Voters, there will be a free virtual watch party for the short film The Officials, followed by a panel discussion about the state of elections in the United States.
This film features election officials from around the nation and provides a behind-the-scenes look at the dedication, care, and professionalism that go into ensuring our elections are accurate, secure, and transparent. Especially at a time when public confidence in elections is so vital, we see this as an important opportunity to create awareness of the work being done to protect democracy at the local level.
